The Office of Community Development is a multi-faceted division of the local government overseeing all land development activities within Sussex County. The Community Development Office administers and guides the building, zoning, planning, code compliance, erosion and sediment control and environmental activities related to physical growth, development and preservation of the County and its resources. The Office strives to improve the quality of life of all residents of Sussex County.
