Some uncertainty still remains regarding exact snow amounts and timing. However, the best chance for accumulating snow (~1") still remains across Southern VA along/south of Hwy 460 and along/west of Interstate 95 on Friday. Timing of the event has changed somewhat in that we now think precipitation will start as snow and then transition to a rain/snow mix or all rain from late morning into the afternoon. A rain/snow mix or a transition back to all snow is then expected as the precipitation ends from west to east Friday evening into Friday night.
