Sussex County Government Offices are closed on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 24th) and the day after Thanksgiving (Friday, November 25th) in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Please note: When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be observed and/or when a holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday shall be observed, or any day so appointed by the Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia or the President of the United States shall be a legal holiday.
