The County of Sussex, VA is hereby soliciting written sealed bids from licensed and insured general contractors to perform housing rehabilitation improvements on four single-family houses located in the Pocahontas Neighborhood Improvement Project Grant area in the Town of Wakefield, Virginia. The funds used to rehabilitate these homes are provided via federal
Community Improvement Grant / Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program funds as administered by the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development (VDHCD). Bid packets may be picked up at the Sussex County Administration Office at 20135 Princeton Road, Sussex, VA 23884 between 8:30AM – 5:00PM, by calling 434-246-1002, or by visiting the County website at www.sussexcountyva.gov.
