Notice of Public Hearing for Proposed Amendment of FY20 Budget
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 15.2-2507, Code of Virginia (1950, as amended), that the Sussex County Board of Supervisors will conduct an electronic meeting and public hearing for the purpose of receiving comments on the proposed Amendment to the Sussex County Annual Fiscal Plan (the “Budget”) on June 18, 2020 in the Department of Social Services Conference, 20103 Princeton Road, Sussex, Virginia 23884 at 6:00 P.M for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2019 and ending June 30, 2020.

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Va. Code § 15.2-1427, that at its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sussex County Department of Social Services Conference Room, 20103 Princeton Road, Sussex, Virginia 23884, the Board will consider the adoption of an Ordinance to Effectuate Temporary Changes in Certain Deadlines and to Modify Public Meeting and Public Hearing Practices and Procedures to Address Continuity of Operations Associated With Pandemic Disaster.

Executive Order # 65 and Order of Public Health Emergency Six: Phase Two Easing of Certain Temporary Restrictions Due to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Excluding the City of Richmond and the Northern Virginia Region; On May 8, 2020, Executive Order 61 and Order of Public Health Emergency Three began easing business, gathering, and traveling restrictions originally imposed by Executive Order 53 and Executive Order 55 issued in March of 2020.
